I am in love with the ephemeral beauty of flowers and foliage , their subtle fragrances , spectrum of colors and variety of forms. There is such a delicious pleasure to be found in working with blossoms and leaves while creating living arrangements for weddings and special occasions.

And when there are no flowers, there is always paint. Paint creates an evocative outlet for imagination and dreams. With paint, I enjoy paying a playful tribute to things found in nature. I will do this on any surface available, from furniture to walls to canvas or note cards.

fox & thistle is the name that I chose for my business because it references the place where I live and am likely to encounter both foxes and thistles on a regular basis. There are both rewards and challenges in these encounters as you would expect; as there always are in life. We’re here to learn, right? Now if I can just learn to manage a blog!
